Once the engineer completes their pre-accident valuation report, you’ll get the opportunity to review and understand the report before approving for it’s submission to the third-party insurer.
Once the engineer has finished inspecting your car, they'll put together a report detailing their findings and the pre-accident valuation of your car. Once we’re also completely satisfied with the final report, we'll send this report to you for review.
The report will clearly state the engineer's professional opinion on your car's value before the accident. It will also include details about the inspection process and the factors that influenced the valuation. If you have any questions about the report, your claims handler will be happy to explain it to you.
We want to make sure you're completely satisfied with the engineer's findings. If you agree with the pre-accident valuation, you'll sign off on the report. This allows us to move forward with your claim and negotiate a fair settlement with the third-party insurer based on the agreed-upon value.
Insurance companies are known to try and offer the lowest possible settlement to non-fault drivers. This is why we go the extra mile to ensure you receive a fair valuation and settlement for your total loss vehicle. We believe you deserve to be compensated fully for your loss.
After you've approved the report, we'll take the next steps in your claim. We'll contact the at-fault driver's insurance company to discuss the settlement and make sure you receive the compensation you're entitled to.
